“Yeah but why is there a bounty on her head?”
“I don’t know, Shaye. You know how it is in the Intelligence, someone probably wants her job. Now do you want the bounty or not?”
Shaye didn’t have to look at her bank account to know that she did.
“Yeah, ok, send me the details.”

She broke off the com channel with Isi and brought up the bounty on her screen instead. Getting in bad with the Intelligence was shit business, but, Shaye supposed, beggars couldn’t be choosers. She hadn’t had a good bounty in months and whoever wanted Castor dead was offering as much as five thousand credits, which was five thousand credits more than Shaye had. Not a bad deal, all things considered. And anyway Shaye was already on Kaas, so what was a little detour to the Imperial HQ before she got off planet?

It took her about five minutes to come up with a plan and it was basically foolproof.

She walked straight in like she belonged there. No one even gave her a second glance.

“Let’s see... offices, offices, ah there, offices!” She took a couple of wrong turns, maybe, before someone finally noticed her.

“You’re not supposed to be here,” the Imperial looked at her sharply before scrunching up his nose in distaste. “Are you a bounty hunter? The Mandalorian enclave is at the western entrance.” “Oh! This way?” Shaye offered a brilliant smile in response, lifted her eyes to check for any security cameras, then punched him square in the face. The poor man dropped like a sack of Corellian potatoes and Shaye gave a little salute, “Much obliged.”

That was sure to draw attention and soon, but she found the right door, finally. Even knocked properly, like the polite hunter she was. She didn’t wait for a reply before coming in though. “Arisse Castor?”

Arisse always appreciated a bit of down time between assignments on Dromund Kaas- down time being work around Imperial Intelligence headquarters for her. There was a lot of data for her to look through, messages that other agents had deciphered, and she was assisting in reading them all so Keeper could respond accordingly to as many as possible as soon as possible. Of course, seeing as this wasn't her typical kind of work, she was allowed to take the data into her own office where she could sit comfortably as she read through them. She reveled in the idea of her reading top secret information, things the lower ranked agents wouldn't be allowed to see. It reminded her how prominent of a position she had in Imperial Intelligence.

However she had to look up from her datapad as the door to her office slid open and in walked a well-rounded woman with dark skin. She even addressed Ari by her full name. Arisse looked her up and down quietly for a moment, noting the lack of any Imperial uniform quite easily, and spotting the weapons the woman had holstered to her belt. It wasn't likely that the woman was an agent, and she certainly wouldn't have been let in without an escort, or at least without notifying Arisse beforehand. It was all quite suspicious.

Arisse stood from the desk and slid the datapad into a drawer, "You're looking for agent Castor? What business could you have with her, I wonder?" She smiled as she circled around to the front of the desk and leaned against it, her fingertips grasping at the edges of the hard surface. From one look, Arisse could assume that this woman didn't belong here, and her gut feeling told her it was not a friendly visit. She was an agent through and through, however, and had a vibroblade hooked underneath her desk for just such an occasion. Her hand was just inches away from it, just in case.

Shaye stood at the door, letting Castor observe her, hand never far from the blaster at her hip when Castor stood and moved gracefully in front of her desk. She cocked her head and pointed to the plate on the office door. “You are her, correct? You were sitting at her desk.” She noted, sort of nodded to herself, then pushed into the office and let the door close behind her with a soft click. “Here’s the thing.” She raised a finger, about to inform Castor that, sorry, but she really needed this bounty that was on her head, and sort of blurted out instead, “Can I buy you a drink?”

She slapped herself mentally, trying to remind that hello, credits? then promptly tried to salvage the situation. The woman before her was very handsome, yes, but that wasn’t going to feed her or pay her taxes, which okay, not that Shaye usually paid taxes, but. “IIII’m, uh, saw you,” she waved a hand non-committaly, “before. Around. From across the,” again she sort of waved, in the general direction of what she hoped was the enclave. “So, you know, if you’re free. Are you free? Now? We could,” think. “Drop by the cantina. Get to know each other, maybe.” Real smooth, Shaye.

Ari tilted her head slightly and squinted her eyes at her new visitor, completely in disbelief to the question this stranger proposed. She can't say this was what she expected. "Are you... serious? Did Watcher 9 put you up to this?" She then decided that no, she didn't want the answer to that, she would deal with that upstart of an agent later; that one was always a pain in her side, jealous about an early promotion Ari received, no doubt.

"No, you know what, I don't have time for this nonsense, so why don't you just turn around and walk back out the way you came." Her Imperial accent was ever smooth and deliberate- quite opposite to whatever this woman's attempt at flirting was.

Though she seemed quite done with the conversation, never having had much patience for unnecessary interruptions, she certainly hadn't let her guard down. She leaned from side or another as she spoke, sure, but one hand always remained on that vibroknife tucked under her desk. There was no telling if the woman was here for other ulterior motives, and for an agent, no one was worth trusting or taking at face value right away.

It wasn’t a terribly bad idea, if only she’d thought of it sooner, made it more convincing. But then what? Shoot Castor after, what? She was still sort of debating the morality of taking someone out and then taking them out when Castor spoke and Shaye smiled brilliantly. “I mean I would, but,” she took a couple of steps forward until she was close enough to lean in towards the other woman. “I don’t suppose you got a map? Cause I just got lost in your eyes.” Great save, she congratulated herself.
